Facebook Thinks You Don’t Love Jesus

Proverbs 3:6 says “In everything you do, put God first, and he will direct you and crown your efforts with success.”

But does your Facebook news feed reflect that you have put God first?  The news feed may be telling you more about your spiritual life than you realize.

At any given time, an average of 15,000 stories are competing for space in your Facebook news feed. To rank those news feed items, the artificial intelligence used by Facebook takes into account the following factors:

Affinity — i.e., how close is the relationship between the user and the source?
Weight — i.e., what type of action was taken on the content?
Decay — i.e., how recent/current is the content?

Another factor considered is the type of content being delivered. If Facebook determines that you like photos more than links from a Facebook page, then it will give priority to photos. Friends, photos of Jesus are not enough.

Does you news feed show that you are putting God first? Mobile Jesus delivers the Word of God using links to his website. If your news feed puts friends, family, and cute puppies first, then it may be time to teach Facebook — and yourself — a lesson.

So, when Mobile Jesus produces a link to the website remember. LIKE AND CLICK. LIKE AND CLICK. LIKE AND CLICK.
